Building Permits

- All home/property improvements of more than $1,000 market value of material
and labor costs require a building permit

- All roofing projects require a building permit regardless of cost

- Building permits are good for one year from the date of issue

- Permit fees double if construction begins before the permit is in hand

- In the event of any major road rebuild, or road improvement and the Town of Lima has to cut out Residential culverts that are in the road right-of-way any approaches currently concrete, will be replaced by asphalt. See Driveway Policy adopted 9-10-18.
