NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be conducted by the Town of Lima on Monday, January 14, 2019, beginning at 7:00 PM at the Lima Town Hall, N3689 County Road I, to consider a proposed 10-year update / addendum to the Town of Lima 20-Year Comprehensive Plan (2009). The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comments on the proposed update.
The Town of Lima has proposed an addendum to the existing Comprehensive Plan that will 1) update basic demographic data per the 2010 U.S. Census; and 2) provide updated information regarding economic development, transportation, housing, natural resources, agriculture, and land use.
The public may review a copy of the draft map and text of the addendum at the Town of Lima Hall by appointment with the Town Clerk. Interested parties may make arrangements with the Town Clerk to obtain a copy of the draft addendum. The addendum can also be seen here.

During the Public Hearing, the public is invited to speak on the proposed addendum. Written comments may be submitted to the Town Clerk until 4:00 PM on January 7, 2019 and shall become part of the record. The Public Hearing shall be closed when all interested parties in attendance have had an opportunity to offer comment.
After the close of the Public Hearing, a meeting of the Town of Lima Board of Supervisors shall be called to order and the addendum shall be addressed per the agenda.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Lima Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on January 28, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. at the Lima Town Hall, N3689 County Road I, Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, to hear public comments on the following proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance for the Town of Lima:
1) The addition of a new zoning district, to be named “A-T Agricultural Tourism District.” This district is intended to set forth standards for agritourism uses.
2) Miscellaneous improvements or corrections to various sections of the Ordinance, such as clarifying the calculation of animal units, reducing the minimum lot size in A-2 from 5 acres to 3 acres, and providing at least one permitted use in every zoning district.

Effective 9/10/18 - No loose ashes are accepted. Cold ashes must be brought in tied plastic bags only and placed in the Compactor. Burning barrels containing loose ash will not be accepted – barrels must be empty.

POLICY ON ASPHALT MATERIAL USED IN TOWN ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAYS
In the event of any major road rebuild, or road improvement and the Town of Lima has to cut out Residential culverts that are in the road right-of-way any approaches currently concrete, will be replaced by asphalt.
